'Ian Boddy Waveforms Bundle Pack' is an incredible collection of five volumes from the 'Analogue Workshop' sound libraries series. Renowned synthesis guru and sound designer, Ian Boddy, has been hard at work in his sonic laboratory and the result is this unmissable bundle collection. Each volume focuses on one aspect of analogue sound design, possible with modular and vintage synthesizers.

Ian Boddy has been producing sample libraries since 1992. This includes award-winning collections for leading sample producers Zero-G and Sample Magic, plus patch and sample content for Camel Audio, LinPlug and Rob Papen.

With such a wealth of musical and sound design experience, Boddy decided to release his sample productions independently under the 'Waveforms' brand. Waveforms delivers unique and focused sample packs, all produced using Boddy's collection of rare and vintage analogue equipment.

Radiophonica:

'Radiophonica' offers a comprehensive selection of drones, bleeps, pings and sweeps recorded directly from analogue hardware synthesisers. This is a purely analogue offering using the sort of modular systems once housed deep within the BBC's Radiophonic Workshop.

'Radiophonica' is the first title in Ian Boddy's WAVeforms series of sample libraries. All the sounds were produced and recorded directly from analogue hardware synthesisers. No digital processing other than a touch of EQ or compression where appropriate was used. Any effects you hear such as flanging, phasing, reverb or echo are from the various analogue components of the modular systems used.

Technical Data:

• Recorded directly into Apple Mac using RME Fireface 400 audio interface

AirWAVes:

'AirWAVes' sounds were recorded using a high quality and powerful radio transciever. The results are strange garbled voices on the edge of recognition, interference patterns, static drones and hidden morse code signals.

'AirWAVes' is the second title in Ian Boddy's WAVeforms series of sample libraries. All the sounds were recorded using a high quality and powerful radio transciever. This provided the raw data of strange garbled voices, buzzing interference patternsand hidden morse code signals that Boddy transformed into AirWAVes.

Drumalogue:

'Drumalogue' is the third title in Ian Boddy's WAVeforms series of sample libraries. This is a library of 1,000 analogue drum, percussion and one-shot hits. However these are not taken from vintage drum machines (of which there is already plenty of content available elsewhere) but rather all the sounds are hand crafted by Boddy on vintage analogue synths and modular systems.

They run the full gamut from thunderous bass drums, crisp snares & hats through to abstract synth hits & FX and even weird glitchy & industrial sounds. The sounds are a mixture of mono and stereo samples and some have genuine analogue effects printed on them from spring reverbs, bucket brigade delays and phaser/flangers. This all adds up to a cornucopia of drum and percussion sounds that can be used in virtually any style of production.

Analogue Workshop Volume 1: Distortion & Feedback:

Each of the 300 samples in 'Analogue Workshop Volume 1: Distortion & Feedback' use some form of either audio or control voltage distortion, feedback or general sonic ill treatment.

A custom designed graphical interface has been scripted in Native Instrument's Kontakt to provide even more variation and programming options. This is rounded off by a set of impulse responses for the convolution reverb, taken directly from analogue modules, such as spring reverbs and bucket-brigade delays to further enhance the overall sound character.

Beatalogue:

'Beatalogue' features a selection of electronic drum patterns and loops which are then fed through Boddy's massive modular synth system. All the loops have between 3 and 5 variations and are also provided in REX2 and Apple Loops format.

'Beatalogue' is the fourth title in Ian Boddy's WAVeforms series of sample libraries. As a follow up to Drumalogue this one takes as it's starting material a selection of electronic drum patterns and loops which are then fed through Boddy's massive modular synth system. These are then filtered, mangled and generally messed up using a huge number of modules all in the analogue domain.

The sounds are also provided in REX2 and Apple Loops format enabling them to be used at various tempos and dissected by the end user for their own purposes.
