Pettinhouse DirectGuitar 2.1
DirectGuitar 2.1 is an innovative 9GB electric guitar sample library for Native Instruments' Kontakt 2-3. The electric guitar has been recorded directly to the audio interface to allow you to add your favorite amp simulator such as NI Guitar Rig or Amplitube so you can shape the sound in whatever way you like.
DirectGuitar 2.1 allows you to create an infinite number of guitar sounds. It is available here for instant download.
5 position pickup selector

Audio and info about Pickups here
Each selector is 1.2 GB and includes around 750 samples recorded at 24-Bit 96Khz, full sustain, natural decay (no loops), 3 velocity layers, round robin for alternate picking.
It means that if you hit a key repeatedly you can hear two different samples, upstroke and downstroke pick instead of that typical unnatural sound coming from the same sample.

This feature allows you to switch in real time different articulations such as slides, palm mute etc just hitting a key of your keyboard. This video shows exactly how key switching works on DirectGuitar 2.1

Jazz Improvisation

Let’s jam with the jazz articulation. The neck pickup has been sampled with half tone knob. Listen to the noises and release notes, it makes the sound very natural.

Jazz Licks

This video shows how to play the jazz articulations. Worth watching.

Strum Noises

This is our favourite! The video shows strum noises, hand noises and some cool noises, very helpful for creating live reggae, funky and jazz strums. Plug your cable and tune your guitar...

Strum Articulation

Now let’s play funky. With this articulation you can create real “Starsky and Hutch” riffs. It has strum noises loops which is possible to adjust the tempo.

Slap & Fingers

This articulation combines two articulations: clean guitar played with fingers and palm mute.
