'Reggae Breaks V1' features live Reggae drum grooves produced using a Mapex M-Birch Kit. It is an an essential tool to give your reggae tracks that live vibe. The loops are available in ACID/WAV, Apple Loops and REX2 formats.

We tuned our beautiful Mapex M-Birch Kit for a sub-note kick, snappy snare and toms that deliver some serious punch. The result was this rich and sparkling drum tone that will have your reggae tracks jumping out of the speakers. Frantic rim shots, sizzling ride grooves and a kick that wont quit all combine to make this little loop pack an essential tool to give your reggae tracks that live vibe.

The dense acoustics of the Kingpin Studios live room were captured using SM57's and the SE Z3300A, as well as AKG D112's on both the kick and floor tom.
