With instruments like the Hurdy Gurdy, Swedish Bagpipes, Kantele, Pump Organ, Offerdahl Pipe and exerpt Reason intergreation and programming this a must have refill for any serious REASON user.

Contains:

• Over 980 .rx2 loops in different tempo, keys and measures as stated in the filenames. 
 
• 19 multisample instruments containing 26 NN-XT™ instrument patches.

• 28 brand new Combinator Deluxe patches!. Please note that the Combinator patches *only works with Reason version 4!!

(Use these Combinator patches placed in the Combi folder for best sound and playability).

• Patch information and a brief history provided for each instrument in the Instrument Info folder.

All samples are 44.1 KHz, 24 Bit stereo and are recorded with the absolute minimum of compression and eq. We’ve made it that way to give you full control in the mix.

This ReFill content is to be seen as inspirational material, not as a complete and total representation of all Scandinavian Folk Instruments. Sound Propulsion have selected what they feel are the most musically relevant instruments for this collection. Besides, it is after all only Volume 1!

In order to preserve the feeling of the original recording sessions, they have not quantized or ”cleaned up” the loops. Sound Propulsion felt that slight timing variations and the odd breath, click or string noise during a player’s performance are as much a part of the sound as the instruments themselves. After listening to the inspirational material on this download we think you'll agree!

Setup info:

Copy the ”Scandinavian Roots vol .1.rfl” to your Reason folder. Consult your software’s owners manual for detailed instructions on how to store and load the samples. The REX samples included can only be used in Stylus RMX when decompressed in Reason first.
