Author: Music Tech Magazine (September 2007) Every summer, most of the major sample library producers treat their customers to a new house or trance samples CD, which underlines the enduring strength of these particular musical styles. Also falling into this category is electro-house - a much sought after genre at present. Fortunately, Loopmasters has teamed up with Andy Lee of Barcoda Recordings to compile its latest collection - Elektro House Producer.
As usual with Loopmasters, you get a lot for your money, with this offering packing all of the contemporary sounds needed to produce your own electro house tracks, drum loops, analogue bass lines and patches, synth loops, FX and 150 electro drum samples. You also get 100 vocal samples, including a robotised set of spoken lines. In fact the only missing ingredient is a hit melody, which of course, is down to you. Categorised according to tempo - 125, 127 and 130BPM - Electro House is a very well-produced set, which has been in the making since late last year. It was obviously time well spent, and the end result in a wealth of up-to-the-minute and very usable material for house producers presented in ACIDised .WAV, REX2, NN-XT, HAlion, Kontakt and EXs24 formats.
It's also ready to use with compatible samplers such as Stylus RMX, Ableton Live and Cakewalk SFZ. At the moment, Electro House Producer is available only as a download, but by the time you have read this review the CD will be on sale along with the second disc for easy auditioning of the sounds.

Author: Computer Music Magazine (December 2007) Yet another electro – or, rather, elektro – house library, this effort from Loopmasters comprises loops at 125, 127 and 130bpm. The material on offer covers all the usual standards, such as beats, basslines, chords, effects, synths and vocals, plus individual drum hits and bass multisamples. Thankfully, the selection lives up to the developer’s reputation for providing authentic-sounding material, and while there’s not an enormous amount of the disc, most of it is of a useable standard.
While we wouldn’t go so far as to say that this will cover all your electro house needs, it’s definitely worth your attention.
