But what exactly is FL Studio? And how can you use our FL Studio sound packs, and get the most out of them?
For the uninitiated amongst you, here’s a little background.
FL Studio is a digital audio workstation (DAW) developed by the Belgian company Image-Line. FL Studio features a graphical user interface based on a pattern-based music sequencer. The program is available in four different editions for Microsoft Windows and macOS, including Fruity Edition, Producer Edition, Signature Bundle, and All Plugins Bundle. Representing more than 20 years of innovative development it has everything you need in one package to compose, arrange, record, edit, mix and master professional quality music.
FL Studio can also be used as a VST instrument in other DAWs. It’s perfect for new producers and those learning how to use DAWs for the first time, but it’s also popular amongst professional producers because of how intuitive it is and how easy it is to use. Many top producers swear by FL Studio to create chart-topping tracks. The DAW has been used by producers from the worlds of Trance, House, Tech-House, Hip Hop, Trap and beyond including Martin Garrix, Madeon, Porter Robinson, Afrojack, Mike Oldfield, Basshunter, Wondagurl, Zardonic, Matthew Dear, Audiojack, Deadmau5, Mike Will Made It, and many other producers at the top of their game.
Here are some quotes about FL Studio from the Image-Line website from what they call their ‘Power Users’:
"It’s ease of use and fast results are what get the ideas down as fast as they come to my head, and that’s really important for me" – Deadmau5
"It is very good to see a product like FL Studio which is available to all and doesn't cost $10000000000 of dollars" – Mike Oldfield
"...with the incredible depth of the software, I never feel like something isn't achievable" – Madeon
"At first, FL stood out to me just because it was vastly more intuitive and usable... there are way too many awesome FL Studio features to list" – Porter Robinson
"I don't do any additional processing it's all FL Studio, even my mastering." – Ummet Ozcan
