Premium drum machine one-shots and loops captured from a hardware-modified Roland TR-626, expanded with iconic LM-1, LinnDrum, DMX, and TR-707 sounds. Recorded across all 15 hardware pitch positions for authentic vintage tone, digital aliasing, and flexible drum programming.

This premium sample library is built around a hardware-modified Roland TR-626 drum machine, combining the original factory bank with legendary drum sounds from the LM-1, LinnDrum, DMX, and TR-707 via a hardware ROM expansion.

To preserve the true character of the hardware, each of the 90 distinct sounds was carefully recorded across all 15 available pitch positions, from -7 to +7. This captures the natural tonal shifts, gritty digital texture, and unique aliasing artifacts produced by the original pitch-shifting architecture.

The master source material was recorded in ultra-high-definition 24-bit / 192kHz using industry-standard RME and Ferrofish converters, then resampled into dedicated 96kHz and 48kHz versions for maximum compatibility across modern production workflows.

Also included are Battery 4 patches with separate 48kHz and 96kHz banks. Five dedicated kits map the main sounds at their default hardware pitch, with additional pre-mapped multi-pitch variations for the toms, making it easy to load, play, and shape the sounds instantly.

The bonus loop content includes 80 drum loops designed to preview how each machine sits in a produced rhythm track. Each loop uses sounds from a single drum machine, with closely matched rhythmic patterns across the different machines so you can compare their unique sonic character. Raw loops provide clean hardware tone, while processed loops add studio enhancement for a mix-ready feel.
