Magneta is more than a standard saturation tool, it is a complete virtual lo-fi ecosystem designed to recreate the tone and unpredictability of vintage cassette decks. From subtle warmth to heavy degradation, it gives producers deep control over the details that make analog processing feel alive.

At the core of the plugin are 8 fully editable lo-fi modules, allowing you to shape your own style of degradation with precision. Adjust Hi-Cut and Lo-Cut filtering, add analog overdrive with Drive, introduce pitch instability using Melt, and dial in physical tape wear with Dmg. Age, Dust, and Hiss controls add the extra layer of worn-out character and noise artifacts needed for an authentic cassette feel.

Magneta also features selectable tape types for different tonal flavors. Choose STD for classic iron tape response or switch to CrO2 for a cleaner saturation profile with more high-end sparkle. The Split section expands the stereo field with three distinct modes using subtle millisecond delays, creating width and depth around instruments without losing focus.

Additional tone-shaping tools such as Aura, Air, and Comp make it easy to refine harmonics, enhance top-end ambience, and glue sounds together into a cohesive analog-style signal. The built-in Randomizer helps spark new ideas instantly by generating fresh settings for the effect section, while Reset brings everything back to its starting point in one click.
