Having produced his first release back in 1993 with two other friends under the moniker "Flybaby", Al has been producing House music ever since under names such as Starecase and General Midi, remixing high profile pop acts such as Lana Del Ray, through to the likes of clubland's elite including Moby, Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, BT, and Nick Warren, as well as Indie bands such as Manic Street Preachers and a myriad of others in between.

'LikeMind: Mission Deep House' features sonic tools from Al's personal library, so expect a killer collection of sounds and loops guaranteed to fit perfectly into any House, Soulful, Bass House and Deep productions you choose to drop them into. Each sample is intentionally not over-processed so there is still plenty of room to add your own character and vibe.

Also included are Construction Kits for both full song ideas and beat breakdowns, produced specifically for this sample pack. Each Kit has been designed to allow you to drag and drop individual samples into your arrangement and fit them together simply, whilst leaving you enough headroom to process and produce your track the way you want it to sound.

Weighing in at over 600 MB, Al draws on twenty years of experience to bring you this high quality selection of deep basses, punchy House beats, hypnotising pads and effects, as well as soaring lead sounds, along with individual percussion sounds guaranteed to get a club moving.

In detail, producers should expect to find 694 MB of 24-Bit/44.1kHz loops and sounds including 24 bass loops, 17 full drum loops, five Construction Kits with 31 music loops, six bass loops, 28 drum loops, five SFX loops, 11 percussion loops, 10 drum Construction Kits with 27 percussion loops, 52 individual drum stems, 20 synth loops, siz bass multi-sampled instruments, 14 SFX, nine synth hits, five synth multi-sampled instruments, 48 drum one-shots, 225 REX2 Files and 42 soft sampler patches for Kontakt, Halion, EXS24, NN-XT and SFZ formats.

The collection is also available in Apple Loops, Ableton Live Pack and Reason Refill to purchase separately. All the single sounds have been genre and type-tagged ready to be used in Native Instruments Maschine software.

The majority of sounds in this pack were custom built on the standard soft synths such as Omnispehere, Massive, IMPoscar and Reaktor and mixed in Logic using high quality mixing tools such as UAD and Slate audio plug-ins.

"Producers can get very tribal about the platforms and synths that they use. The producers that inspired me to start writing music back in the late 1980's had very basic equipment, but used it in ways that sometimes even the manufacturers had not envisaged. My vibe is "it ain't what you got, it's how you use it".
