'Ceilidh: Celtic Folk Songs' is a collection of Irish and Scottish traditional tunes featuring violin, guitar, tenor mandola and mandolin. It comes with over 800 MB of recordings and is delivered as whole pieces divided into individual loops. Each tune has been selected to compliment modern creative music production, with specific tempo and atmospheres from the Celtic genre, from the Dreamtime of Hector the Hero to the head on attack of Drowsy Maggie and all stations in between.
Included are 12 completely arranged and instrumented tunes with 156 individual 24-Bit WAV loops and an equal number of REX2 loops to chop up in the mix. The format is based on a traditional 16 bar cycle with each tune at 2 or 4 time, usually termed 'Reels', with 3, 6 or even 9 time 'Jigs', which means all the loops will fit multiples of two in many interesting ways. Each tune is separated into individual instrument parts, which have been divided into smaller Loops for useful inspiration in other styles.
At tempos from 60-128 BPM, 'Ceilidh: Celtic Folk Songs' is ideally suited to film scores and television themes and also for those producers looking for an earthy timeless Celtic vibe. Each element is also key labelled so you can intertwine the loops seamlessly in your tracks.
