This intelligent royalty-free sample collection takes you on a magical musical journey and includes warm, powerful Basses, groove-filled Beats, soulful Melodic Loops and crisp, punchy organic One-Shots. Dauwd creates music with the complexity most contemporary producers shy away from. Found sounds are thickly laden over multi-timbred synths. Vocal and instrumental stabs punctuate organic and evolving passages guided always by driving percussion and immaculate low-end production.
His productions are full and intricate with a wealth of sounds to build warm atmospheric textures which, whilst uncommon in most Dance productions, fit effortlessly into Dauwd’s releases.
Early releases 'Could It Be' and 'What's There' gained support from some of music's most important names. Benji B, Gilles Peterson, and Jamie XX were early champions; 'Ikopol' was released as part of Adult Swim's "{UNCLASSIFIED}" compilation alongside tracks from Burial, Kode9 and Untold.
Having toured extensively as a DJ, headlining club shows all around the UK and Europe, Dauwd has also won over the likes of Nick Höppner (OstGut Ton) and Kompakt label boss Michael Mayer who included 'Ikopol' on his mix for Faze Magazine.
The collection weighs in at 500 MB and includes 378 samples recorded at 24-Bit quality, with 111 loops between 120 to 128 BPM and 267 one-shot samples.
Also included are 68 ready-to-play patches for Kontakt, Halion, EXS24, NN-XT and SFZ compatible soft samplers. Apple loops, Reason Refill and Ableton Live versions are also available to purchase separately.
In detail you will find 22 Bass Loops, 54 Drum Loops, 35 Music Loops, 106 Drum Hits, seven Bass Multis, 20 Bass Hits, six Synth Multis, 19 Synth Hits and 20 awesome SFX.
