London Grime Bars

As one of the most exciting grime MCs to emerge out of Hackney in recent years, Razor has been making quite a name for himself both as a recording artist and as a live MC. Having performed at regular sell-out shows around the country, supporting the likes of Spooky, My Nu Leng, Slimzee and more high-profile names over the last year, Razor's stock is set to skyrocket in the very near future.

'London Grime Bars' weighs in at over 1.2 GB, and features a plethora of weighty urban observations delivered in heavy tones and with razor-sharp timing. With loops, ad-libs, sampler patches and Rex2 files, you'll be sure to find a vocal cut to liven up your next set of bass-heavy riddims.

Rolling out at the traditional pace of 140 BPM, the collection of bars will fit perfectly over the named genre, but will also work well with Dubstep, Dark Garage, Bassline, Breaks and other Bass genres.

In detail, expect to find 1.22 GB of content, with all WAV files recorded at 24-Bit and 44.1kHz. 121 Loops are split between 30 separate verse Construction Kits and 60 vocal One-Shots are incorporated in Ad-Lib form. Also included are 181 rex2 files and a sampler patch containing the vocal ad-libs for NNXT, Halion, Kontakt, SFZ, EXS24.

Producers Tip: the key with grime vocals is to allow them to sound as dry as possible, whilst also adding a subtle layer of effected edge to them. This is best achieved with Aux sends or buses, particularly distortion to bring excitation to the high frequencies, and subtle chorus to bring width and weight to the low mids.
