"I thought Producer Loops had made a mistake when announcing this release from the Anthology label.

More then EIGHT gigs for just under fifty notes? An amazing bargain you'd be hard pressed to find elsewhere. AND another plus - Ibiza Chillout Vol 1 is available via Pick 'n' Mix, allowing you to purchase it as a full product, or you can pick and choose which kits you'd like from £12.95.

You get the usual 'more than you can shake the proverbial stick at' raft of sounds through five ram-jammed construction kits.

The kits have names, too, and these are called Albido (Am, 120 BPM); Tomorrow (Fm, 114 BPM); Mahal Lounge (Cm, 81 BPM); Transorbital Love Express (Dm, 83 BPM and Kola which comes in at 110 BPM in C minor.

The amazing variety of sounds really are top notch and, as per usual, can be timestretched, pitch-shifted, whatever. There are wet and dry loops so with the dry sounds you can of course add your own FX to please your own tastes.

What do you get? Lots, lots and ever such lots of guitars (including nylon-string guitars), flutes, basses, harp flageolets, reversed guitars, clavinets, Wurlitzers, male and female vox, phased Rhodes, drums and synths aplenty.

There are final mixes of each track included so you can easily hear how the construction of the track fits in all the sounds which will of course inspire you to create your own stunning musical masterpiece.

For those who like to plug in your own instruments there are plenty of MIDI files for you to tweak to your heart's content.

There are also OMF files included as standard for producers who need to work across multiple platforms or to industry standards. OMF files mean you can import each audio clip into your sequencer at precisely the right location, allowing you to restructure the original song, or add your own complimentary instrumentation.
