Product Information
'Altered Strings' is a dark cinematic sound design toolkit where classical cello performances are stripped down and reassembled through raw heterodyne synthesis. Built for film scoring, dark ambient, and game audio design, this collection merges live cello acoustic friction - bow pressure, harmonic plucks, and body resonances - with physical modeling synthesis.
Captured and processed through the Superhet synthesizer and custom DSP chains, 'Altered Strings' pushes string signals beyond conventional tonality into microtonal frequency drifts, sub-heavy drones, granular tension, and cold industrial pulses.
Perfect for Film & Game Scoring, Dark Ambient, Dystopian Soundscapes, Industrial, Horror Audio, and Experimental Electronic.
