Dread Hornz Vol 6

'Dread Hornz Vol. 6' amps up the heat with three songs and 800+ total horn lines, riffs, and skanks. Continuing in the tradition of the previous five releases with more classic 70s horn-driven reggae recordings of Jamaica heard on so many legendary songs - from Studio One to Channel One, from Marley to Burning Spear and modern steppers - there's no limit to how you can utilise complete horn lines, specific instruments, cut-and-chop parts, and numerous riffs in your tracks.

The three songs are Scratch's Dub (81 BPM, B), Dirty Dubbing (120 BPM, Em), and Two Tons (136 BPM, Ab), with processing variations including dry, dub, filter, lo-fi, multi-FX, phaser, RE-201 dub, spring reverb, and verb.

The horns are performed by Booom Hornz - Cédric Munsch (aka Tribuman), a trumpetist and trombonist from France who has worked with Apple Gabriel, Brinsley Ford, Tippa Irie, Earl16, Macka B, and many more, and Romain Pivard (aka Mux), a saxophonist who has performed across France, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, and beyond. Together they have recorded for Naâman, Courtney John, Dubmatix, Chezidek, Reality Shock Records, and the Bob Marley Tracks Project with original Wailers and I-Threes.
