Afro Dancehall Percussion V.1

Afro Dancehall Percussion is a wide range and assortment of instruments from Africa, the Caribbean, and experimental elements to blend these beautiful rhythmic musics together. The result, a panoramic view of African instrumentation inspired by Dancehall rhythms.

We used congas, kalimbas, nyahbinghi drums, log drum, djembe, finger cymbals, handpans, and so much more performed by a world class percussionist and a Grammy nominated producer to deliver you an organic display of the power of percussion.

The instruments were obtained on our travels to both Jamaica, a variety of countries in Africa, and many other places. We learned the instruments watching the people who play them where they originate. We pride ourselves in authentic and organic sounds over here at Rhythm Science.
