You don't need another preamp or plug-in. You don't need another audio magazine full of manufacturers' adverts. Straight Forward Professional Guidance
Audio Masterclass Music Production and Sound Engineering Courses are extremely straightforward to follow. Each module has audio example and files ready for you to load into your DAW. The course explains what you should be listening for, and how to achieve the same results in your own recordings.
The course manual provides the important background information, with 'check questions' and model answers so you can easily track your progress. But the most important part of the course is the Practical Assignment Project in each module.
Each practical assignment concentrates on a particular audio skill. Audio Masterclass' has been designing projects like these since 1985, so they know exactly what tasks to assign in order to help you make the fastest progress in your music.
When you have finished each practical assignment project, you can submit it online for assessment by Audio Masterclass. They will grade your work and send you back a report showing you (in detail) which areas you to should improve.
Why buying more equipment or software won't help you make better recordings:
After struggling to get the required results, many home studio owners think the answer is to buy better equipment or software to get the required results. So, they save up money and spend, spend, spend. Or - bad idea - buy more equipment and software on their credit card. And then they wonder why their recordings don't sound any better? The fact is that you need knowledge, skill and experience to get the very best results. Until you have these, the best equipment and software won't make a difference.
In the Audio Masterclass Music Production and Sound Engineering Course you will learn how to make recordings of a fully professional standard using only the standard plug-ins included with your DAW. When you can do that, you'll be in a better position to get the best from the more expensive equipment and software.
How to succeed in the pro music and sound industry:
The first thing you need to know is that it's tough to make it in the music and sound industries. The reason for that is there are so many other people in competition with you. But just because it's tough doesn't mean that it's impossible. You may need some luck. But when luck comes your way you had better be prepared!
So the first thing needed is to ensure the quality of your work is as professional as possible. Unfortunately many people think their work is professional enough, when it isn't. It is difficult to be able to assess your own work. So that is one area where Audio Masterclass can help. Through the Practical Assignment Projects of the course, they will show you exactly where your music stands in respect to professional expectations. They will help you close any gaps in your knowledge, so you'll end the course as a front runner.
Giving Your Music The Best Chance
People in the music industry receive a huge quantity of demo recordings, only some of which will be listened to. But Audio Masterclass' inner industry experience, has shown them what it takes to get your work heard first. And the course will show you how to do that very clearly. And you should not forget that if you can't be a star recording artist or producer, there are many other ways to work successfully and profitably in the professional music and sound industries.
Take TV music, for example. If you listen carefully to background music on TV you will hear a) that there's a lot of it, and b) that most of it isn't anything special. So here's an area where there are numerous opportunities for any producer with a lot of passion and a modicum of talent.
Let's talk about the Audio Masterclass certificate:
In reality, no-one in the industry relly cares much about certificates, although a studio manager might well be impressed that you have taken the trouble to earn one. Audio Masterclass offers a certificate as a personal reward to you; for the hard work you are going to put into this course. It's something you can look at and take pride in.
But it is your Showreel that will get you work. At the end of the course, Audio Masterclass will take you through the steps necessary to create a professional showreel of your own; one that will get listened to and not thrown in the trash.
