Performed on a Gretsch Brooklyn kit in classic bebop sizes with vintage 1950s and Artist Vault Zildjian cymbals, styles include Swing, Bebop, Shuffle, New Orleans grooves, Latin Jazz, Bossa Nova, Jazz Funk, Fusion, and an extensive selection of expressive brush performances.

Tristan Banks has built a reputation as a knowledgeable, versatile, and authentic world-class drummer throughout a 35-year career, working with Grammy Award-winning and Platinum-selling artists including Roy Ayers, Steve Winwood, Brian May, Van Morrison, Ronnie Wood, David Gilmour, Beverley Knight, Marcos Valle, and many more, performing at venues including Madison Square Garden, Royal Albert Hall, and Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. Since 2021 he has also been curator and venue manager at The Verdict Jazz Club, and in 2023 released his critically acclaimed debut album View From Above.

The pack features multiple production and microphone variations including classic close-mic recordings and immersive ribbon room mic versions, alongside the custom "Pianoverb" recording technique - an experimental acoustic reverb process capturing the sympathetic resonance of open piano strings to emulate the diffuse harmonic bloom of vintage jazz recordings.
