"Hail the Creative Essentials Series from..."Hail the Creative Essentials Series from Zero-G. So to the first disc, Global SFX. It's subtitled 'natural sound effects', but since when were lawnmowers, hair dryers, videos, lighters and windscreen wipers captured feeding and shagging by the Life On Earth team? Hippos, yes, but not Zippos. Global SFX was compiled by Matt Vowles (profiled in Breakers, FM 8). We know he's local because on the railway station and zoo atmospheres, the very unglobal 'Temple Meads' and 'Bristol Zoo' can be heard.
