Deep House tracks generally have a tempo of between 100 and 125 BPM, and often have an acoustic feeling compared to other House genres. Soulful female vocals are most often used if vocals are used at all. There is a spacious use of percussion elements, muted basslines, soft keyboard sounds (pads), use of advanced chord structures, and ambient mixes. Deep house music rarely reaches a climax, instead, it lingers on as a comfortable, hypnotic and relaxing sound.
