Revive

'Revive' by Producer Loops and The Sound of Merlin was inspired by 1990s Norwegian Jazz, in which atmospheres, soundscapes and beats play a central role in the fresh sound of an era characterized by intimate melodies, static sonorities and minimalism. This pack draws inspiration from Bugge Wesseltoft and Nils Petter Molvær, two of the most important musicians of this genre, also known as Nordic Jazz.

In 'Revive', electronic beats and atmospheric sound design take the central spot. With a distinct Jazz vibe, but steering clear of long and flashy solos, timbre and sonority are more important than the notes and melodies. 'Revive' is all about creating a space; a sonic environment in which the listener (and also the musicians) can relax and dream.
